The year 2018 marks CECEP’s “Year of Technological Innovation.” The company has accordingly formulated Action Plan for Technological Innovation (2018), and the first group of 18 key innovation projects have been kicked off. So far, CECEP has set up 89 research and development institutes at various levels, including four national R&D institutes, 29 provincial- and ministerial-level institutes and one overseas R&D institute, and received 214 scientific research awards at and above the provincial and ministerial level, including a First Prize of State Technological Invention Award (2015), a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2016) and a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2017), alongside 2,183 authorized patents and 466 authorized intention patents. In addition, it has played a lead role in 200 scientific research projects at and above the provincial and ministerial level, and presided over and participated in the formulation of 269 national and industry standards.

On March 27, China Annual Institutional Investor Conference & 14th Golden Cicada Awards Ceremony, sponsored by ChinaTimes, was held in Beijing. Experts, scholars and business executives from various fields discussed new trends in macroeconomy, capital market, new technology, consumer upgrading and other fields under the new development pattern. CECEP’s health industry company was invited to attend the event, and its health and nutritional products brand “Guozhen” won the award of “2020 Top Ten Most Trusted Health Brands.”

Recently, the Awards Ceremony for 19th Shenzhen Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Award was held in Shenzhen, south China’s Guangdong Province. Seven projects of Shenzhen Design Institute under China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation won eight awards.

With technical support from CECEP Consulting Co., Ltd, the Measures for Certification and Classification of Green Projects in Lanzhou New Area (for Trial Implementation) and Measures for Certification and Classification of Green Enterprises in Lanzhou New Area (for Trial Implementation) were recently released. This is the second time CECEP Consulting provides technical support to formulate standards targeted for a green finance pilot zone, following the Guangzhou pilot zone for green finance reform and innovation.

Recently, the New Era (Xi’an) Design Engineering Co., Ltd., the Xi’an Si Fang Construction Supervision Co., Ltd., and the Xianyang Company under China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation respectively passed the 2020 High-tech Enterprise Identification and received the National High-tech Enterprise Certificate jointly issued by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Finance, and Shaanxi Provincial Tax Service under the State Taxation Administration.
