The year 2018 marks CECEP’s “Year of Technological Innovation.” The company has accordingly formulated Action Plan for Technological Innovation (2018), and the first group of 18 key innovation projects have been kicked off. So far, CECEP has set up 89 research and development institutes at various levels, including four national R&D institutes, 29 provincial- and ministerial-level institutes and one overseas R&D institute, and received 214 scientific research awards at and above the provincial and ministerial level, including a First Prize of State Technological Invention Award (2015), a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2016) and a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2017), alongside 2,183 authorized patents and 466 authorized intention patents. In addition, it has played a lead role in 200 scientific research projects at and above the provincial and ministerial level, and presided over and participated in the formulation of 269 national and industry standards.

The eighth “Solarbe Awards” annual event recently took place in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. CECEP Solar Energy Technology (ZhenJiang) Co., Ltd. was named the “Most Influential PV Module Company” and won a “Solarbe Test” award jointly granted by China General Certification and Solarbe.com (an authoritative photovoltaic portal in China).

The 19th Water Sector Strategic Forum was held in Beijing from March 31 to April 1. The forum released the 2020 annual rankings of Chinese water companies, and CECEP General Water of China Co., Ltd. ranked third among Top Ten Most Influential Water Companies in China for the third consecutive year since 2018. This is also the 18th time for the company to win a place among the Top Ten Most Influential Water Companies. Its Liuguangmen Sewage Treatment Plant was awarded two titles at the forum: “Benchmark Wastewater Treatment Plant in IT Integration” and “Benchmark Wastewater Treatment Plant in Efficient Use of Space.”

CECEP Solar Energy Technology (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the event and took home two awards — 2020 Brand Leadership Award and 2020 Excellent Supplier Award for the PV green building industry.
