The Madagascar branch of China Geo-Engineering Corporation won a tender on October 8 for the maintenance project of Section PK20-PK60 of National Highway 44. The project is funded by the World Bank and owned by the Ministry of Land Development, Housing and Public Works of Madagascar. With a contract period of 18 months, it involves the renovation of a 40-km section of asphalt pavement and related works.
