The groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation project of the People’s Palace of Comoros was held at the People’s Palace in Moroni, capital of Comoros, on December 28, 2019. The project is conducted under the aid of China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “China Qiyuan”), a subsidiary company of CECEP.
2019 marked the first year of the commercial use of 5G. On December 30, 2019, the 7th China Enterprise New Media Annual Meeting was held in Xiongan New Area, one of the first “national pilot zones for the innovative development of the digital economy” and one of the earliest cities achieving commercial use of 5G, under the theme of “5G All Media Era.”

Recently, CECEP L&T Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. Zhu Qingfeng, deputy CEO of CECEP, led a delegation to attend the 13th China-Japan Comprehensive Forum on Energy Saving and Environmental Protection in Tokyo and visited a couple of Japanese enterprises from December 6 to 11.
Special agricultural products from Songxian County of Henan Province and the Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which are targets of “paired assistance” for CECEP, as well as from poverty-stricken villages aided by its subsidiary companies, were displayed at the trade fair, including free-range chicken, wormwood and red date tea, orange, Se-rich brown rice, millet and peanut oil. CECEP employees showed great interest in those products and were enthusiastic to buy, with an aim to help farmers in those areas by consumption. During the two-day event, more than 4,000 agricultural products were sold, and trade unions of CECEP subsidiaries signed purchase deals with enterprises in those poverty-stricken areas.
