From November 5 to 10, the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). CECEP CEO Yu Honghui, alongside Chief Accountant Xie Guoguang as the executive leader, headed a CECEP delegation of more than 100 representatives from 10 subsidiaries to participate in the Expo.
On November 3, CECEP CEO Yu Honghui attended the third China Enterprise Reform and Development Forum upon invitation in Jinan, Shandong Province. Centering on the theme of “accelerating the transformation of growth drivers and promoting high-quality development,” the forum discussed topics such as “mixed ownership reform,” “corporate image,” “scientific and technological innovation,” “reform and innovation” and “the 5G era.”
From October 14 to 18, to mark the sixth National Poverty Alleviation Day, Chen Shuguang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of CECEP, led a team on a tour of Songxian in Henan Province and Fuchuan in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to inspect the group’s poverty alleviation work in these two poverty-stricken counties under pairing assistance.
On October 19, the Academics Forum on High-quality Development of China’s Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industry, jointly organized by the International Ecological Economy Promotion Association, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) and Legal Daily, was held in Beijing. CECEP CEO Yu Honghui was invited to the forum and delivered a speech.
At the recent China Forum on Renewable Resources Technological Innovation held in Beijing, winners of the China Renewable Energy Society (CRES) Science and Technology Progress Award were announced. The “Industrial Park-based Multiple Biomass Energy Co-production Technology and Its Engineering Application” submitted by China National Environmental Protection Corporation (CNEPC) won the first prize of 2019 CRES Science and Technology Progress Award.
On September 18, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) and the Changjiang Water Resources Commission (CWRC) of the Ministry of Water Resources convened a seminar on strategic cooperation in “jointly promoting the comprehensive protection and ecological progress of the Yangtze River.” The two parties conducted in-depth communication and signed an agreement on the cooperation mechanism of primary platforms concerning experience sharing, river basin management and pollution control of the Yangtze River.
On September 5, Yu Honghui, CEO of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) attended the signing ceremony of the agreement between the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and Shanghai Municipality on deepening cooperation in the implementation of national strategy.
Recently, CECEP and Agricultural Development Bank of China signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aiming to give full play to the leading and pioneering role of a central SOE and a state-owned policy-based financial institution in serving the national development strategy, building a beautiful China and supporting the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, so as to make joint contribution to promoting the great protection of the Yangtze River.
