At the 14th Solid Waste Strategy Forum co-sponsored by E20 Environment Platform and China Urban Construction Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., which was held on December 17-18, China National Environmental Protection Group was named among the 2020 Top 10 Influential Enterprises in the Solid Waste Industry. This is the 11th consecutive year for the company to earn the prestigious honor.
The organizers praised China National Environmental Protection Group for “building a model among central enterprises in carrying out solid waste management in urban and rural areas in a holistic way.” In detailing reasons for awarding the company with the title, the evaluation panel notes: “As a solid waste company under the umbrella of CECEP, China National Environmental Protection Group has made continuous efforts to forge a market development mechanism featuring specialized development and regionalized operation, build a market model for coordinated management of solid waste while continuously expanding its main business of waste incineration power generation, and actively perform its social responsibility as a central enterprise to serve major national ecological and environmental protection strategies.”
