On December 10, the second group of projects winning the 2019-2020 China Installation Quality Award (China Installation Star Project) was released. The Household Waste Incineration for Power Generation Project in Hengshui Ecological Cycle Industrial Park undertaken by China National Environmental Protection Group was included in the award list.
China Installation Star Project is not only the highest engineering quality award in the installation industry of China, but also a national award to honor engineering quality of projects. The engineers of the Hengshui project attached great importance to the management of the quality of key parts of the project, and made special plans to design key parts including the incineration lines of two 500-ton furnaces, a 20-MW condensing steam turbine generator set and the flue gas purification system. Through refined process control such as planning, reviewing, modelling construction and process confirmation, the project’s quality was greatly improved.
