Recently, the Baishui 20MW agricultural-photovoltaic project, constructed by China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “China Qiyuan”) under CECEP for CGC Energy Co., Ltd., was named a “2019 Excellent Petrochemical Engineering Project.”
Covering an area of nearly 64 hectares, the project is a photovoltaic power station integrating power generation and high-efficiency farming. It consists of a photovoltaic agricultural greenhouse, an open planting zone, and an office and living zone. While maximally reducing investment cost and enhancing land usage rate, it realizes an organic blending of solar photovoltaic power generation and modern agriculture. Its combined efficiency has passed the authentication of the National Center of Supervision and Inspection on Solar Photovoltaic Products Quality, and its power generating capacity leads its peers in Shaanxi Province.
