On July 19, 2018, the second generation of world’s first trussed robot for stack installation of iron cores manufactured by CECEP Xi’an Qiyuan Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. (SDRI) was officially delivered for operation, marking the beginning of commercial production of the equipment in real sense.
After extensive surveys over the past year, SDRI has made continuous technological improvements on the basis of the first generation of stack installation line via intensive running-in with transformer production techniques. As a result, the efficiency and quality of stack installation have been markedly raised. By optimizing the production process of sorting materials, positioning, identifying and moving the products, efficient stack installation of the iron cores for transformers has been achieved. Compared with traditional stack installation manually, the new installation line features efficiency, intelligence and stability as acclaimed by users.
The official operation of the second-generation stack installation line symbolizes anther technological breakthrough achieved by SDRI, as well as its leading position among international competitors in real sense.
