From March 23 to 25, China Development Forum 2019, themed on “Greater Opening-up for Win-Win Cooperation,” took place at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. At an invitation from the Development Research Center of the State Council, Yu Honghui, CEO of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech at the session “Jointly Pushing Forward Sustainable Development Goals.”
As the development of green finance enters the “deep water zone,” the focus of China-UK bilateral efforts on green finance has shifted from financial cooperation to technological innovation. On March 21, a delegation from the City of London visited CECEP Consulting Co., Ltd., and both sides discussed the promotion of the “Green Technology Incubator” joint project.

As a participator in the formulation of China’s green bonds standards, CECEP Consulting Co., Ltd. On January 30, 2019, the Middle East Branch of China Geo-Engineering Corporation (CGC), a subsidiary of CECEP, signed contract with Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Arabian national petroleum and natural gas company, at its headquarters in Dhahran. According to the contract, CGC will undertake site development and early construction for Saudi Aramco’s Abu Ali Island.
The 49th World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting took place from January 21 to 25 in Davos, Switzerland. Liu Dashan, chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), was invited to the event to attend the opening ceremony, the Exchange Meeting Between Chinese and Foreign Companies, “China Night,” and other activities.
On December 25, 2018, the National Energy Administration (NEA) issued Notice No. 16/2018, approving the release of “Technical Specifications for Monitoring Systems of Waste-to-Energy Power Plants” (DL/T 1937-2018) and “Technical Specifications for Leachate Treatment at Waste-to-Energy Power Plants” (DL/T 1939-2018) drafted by China National Environmental Protection Group under CECEP. Both standards will officially take effect on May 1, 2019.
From January 17 to 18, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) held its annual working conference in Beijing, at which the company conferred awards on its model workers, participants exchanged their experience, and its secondary subsidiaries signed agreements of responsibilities for management, production safety, and environmental protection. Liu Dashan, chairman of CECEP, delivered an important speech, and CEO Yu Honghui made a work report for 2019 on behalf of CECEP.
