Project Led by the Research Center Won the Special Prize of the Central Enterprise Think Tank Alliance

Recently, the project "Research on the Pathway of Carbon Peak and Neutrality in Central Enterprises Based on Practical Cases", led by CECEP Ecological Products Development Research Center, won the special prize of the 2021 key project (joint investigation and research category) of the alliance, and won the honor of "Top Ten Projects" of the alliance in 2019-2021. On November 8th, the 5th China Enterprise Forum-China Enterprise Think Tank Construction Parallel Forum was held in Jinan, Shandong Province. Peng Huagang, Secretary-General of SASAC, presented the award to Huo Zhonghe, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Research Center.

In recent years, with the goal of building a think tank for the green industry, the research center has made full use of its own advantages in the fields of energy conservation, emission reduction, environmental protection and climate change response, actively carried out national green, low-carbon and circular development policies and research projects, and made a series of achievements. In addition to the above-mentioned awards, the research center's independent research on the value realization of ecological products of central enterprises won the first prize of the Alliance in 2021, and the research on the pathway of central enterprises cultivating world-class enterprises with global competitiveness won the special prize of the Alliance in 2020. The research on the role of central enterprises in rural ecological environment improvement and the research on foreign environmental protection infrastructure construction and operation mechanism won the second prizes of the Alliance in 2019 and 2018, respectively.

The Central Enterprise Think Tank Alliance is a new working platform composed of think tanks affiliated to central enterprises under the leadership of SASAC. Since its establishment, the Alliance has forged consensus and achieved steady progress. It has played an important role in supporting the modernization of state governance, supporting modernization in the Chinese style, and accelerating the construction of world-class enterprises.
