Kagera Regional Vocational Training and Service Centre Aided by CQEC Was Handed over Smoothly

Recently, the handover ceremony of the Kagera Regional Vocational Training and Service Centre designed and managed by CQEC was held in Bukoba of Kagera Region, Tanzania. Tanzanian President, Prime Minister, Ambassador and Counsellor of China to Tanzania attended the handover ceremony.

The Training and Service Center is located in Bukoba fo Kagera Region, Tanzania, with a total area of 98,500 square meters. The construction includes teaching buildings, office buildings, training workshops, student dormitories, teacher's apartments, canteens, other auxiliary rooms and outdoor supporting facilities. The design of the center follows the concept of environmental protection, giving full consideration to the building's facade shading and natural lighting and ventilation, and reducing the energy consumption of building operation.

In the process of construction, faced with many adverse effects brought by COVID-19 pandemic, the CQEC team worked hard to overcome difficulties, allocated resources as a whole, scientifically organized the construction, successfully completed the project management task, ensured the smooth delivery of the project on schedule so as to make contributions to the close friendship between China and Tanzania.

When the project is completed and put into use, it will greatly improve the level of vocational education in Kagera Region, train all types of technical talents urgently needed for the country's economic and social development, and promote Tanzania's industrialization process.
